Horsemanship Lessons
Learn Horsemanship that goes beyond the saddle! My horsemanship lessons are designed to cultivate confidence and connection for both horse and rider. By integrating equine behaviorism and trauma-informed instruction, I provide a thoughtful Natural “Nervous System” based Horsemanship approach to Western and Recreational riding. With a focus on building trust and understanding, students will develop a balanced, safe seat and a versatile set of skills for handling and riding horses, including those they may not be familiar with.
Confidence-building and choice of session learning is at the core of my teaching philosophy. You don’t quit what you’re good at. Riders are encouraged to not only develop their own self-assurance but to recognize when a horse is under-confident, guiding them to uncover the “what” and address it thoughtfully. Whether you're new to riding or looking to deepen your partnership and understanding with horses, these lessons equip you with the tools to approach any horse with clarity, respect, and confidence.
Seminars & Workshops
Horsemanship seminars provide a unique and powerful opportunity, blending equine behaviorism, trauma-informed principles, and an open dialogue with the horse to foster meaningful connections. These workshops are designed for corporate teams, leadership groups, and organizations seeking to enhance teamwork, communication, and emotional intelligence. Participants will learn from the horses themselves—whose responses are direct reflections of our behavior—making each session a real-time, dynamic learning experience.
Ideal for team-building events, corporate hosting, and leadership development, our sessions offer participants the opportunity to better understand trust, non-verbal communication, and emotional attunement in a supportive and engaging environment. Through this immersive process, your team will walk away with deeper self-awareness, improved interpersonal skills, and a stronger sense of unity.

Horse Training, Colt Starting & Troubleshooting
Do you have your own horse? Are you looking for a local place to board your horse where you can have your horse trained or tuned up?
My approach is centered on creating a true partnership between horse and handler, rather than a traditional Leader-Follower relationship. By utilizing a balanced mixture of both negative reinforcement (R-) and positive reinforcement (R+), and applying principles of equine behaviorism, we foster an environment where horses are encouraged to express their needs and emotions, including the freedom to say “no.”
This dialogue-based training style is designed to help handlers not just respond to challenges, but work through them together with the horse, building confidence on both sides. With trauma-informed principles or “Healing Centered Engagement” guiding the process, we prioritize understanding the “what” is behind the behavior, “where” and “how”. Whether you're facing specific training challenges or simply aiming to deepen your bond, my methods empower you and your horse to navigate the path forward as a team.

Horses, tack, and everything needed for the lesson is provided, just bring yourself and some appropriate clothing!
As of 2025, prices have raised to be competitive with other local offerings, thank you for understanding!
Individual Horsemanship Lesson (On-Site) - $60 per hour
Grouped Horsemanship Lesson (x2 or more handlers; On-Site) - $50 per student, per hour

At this time, Borderless charges the following:
P&P Legacy Pasture Boarding - $250 per horse. Separate contract and agreement will be expected from owner.
Borderless Horsemanship Training - $350 a month (can be prorated at owners request) - This includes handling x4 a week, and free lessons (as long as they are scheduled) during the course of the horses training x1 per week.
Total = $600 per month
